School Nutrition Standards Commission

The MHSLC was named a member of the recently approved School Meal Nutrition Standards Commission. This commission is charged with studying and recommending enhanced nutrition standards for K-12 public school meals. We look forward to working with stakeholders from across the state to shape a healthier future for Massachusetts' students.

MA Healthy School Lunch Bill
The companies that serve food to our children can do better. The Massachusetts Healthy School Lunch Bill (SB.308/HB.451), will make healthier menus the default for the 500,000 Massachusetts students who depend on school lunch each day.
